About Skin on our wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon;  While it is popular to have a skinless fish for visual appearance, did you know there are many important nutrients in salmon skin.   For example, salmon skin contains concentrations of omega-3  fatty acids.  This is because the salmon’s healthy fat is in the layer just beneath the skin, so when it is cooked, the skin and flesh soak up these healthy fats.  Remove the skin after cooking if you desire but give it a try, you will be healthier and happier.

Keep Frozen until use Keep frozen. Thaw overnight in refrigerator, or if you desire to  eat right away place unopened package in cold water for 45 minutes or until fish is flexible.
