While it is popular to have a skinless fish for visual appearance, did you know there are many important nutrients in salmon skin.   For example, salmon skin contains concentrations of omega-3  fatty acids.  This is because the salmon’s healthy fat is in the layer just beneath the skin, so when it is cooked, the skin and flesh soak up these healthy fats.  Remove the skin after cooking if you desire but give it a try, you will be healthier and happier.

The Alaskan Rockfish is one of the best-kept secrets of the Alaska fisheries. It’s flesh is firm, white and meaty, yet oily so it absorbs marinades, wood smoke, and other flavors very well — making the Alaskan Rockfish one of the best eating fish in the world.  Frozen only once after catch so you can re-freeze with no worries.

Each portion is vacuum-sealed for easy serving.  Flash-frozen hours after harvest for fresher flavor.
